Uganda, located in East Africa, is a landlocked country known for its fertile land, youthful population, and abundant natural resources. With over 45 million people, Uganda’s economy is driven by agriculture, tourism, energy, and an emerging oil and gas industry.

The country is a major regional food producer and is developing its manufacturing and services sectors through infrastructure investments and policy reforms. As a member of the East African Community (EAC) and AfCFTA, Uganda offers access to a growing continental market. With government initiatives focused on industrialization, digital transformation, and SME growth, Uganda presents increasing opportunities for trade, investment, and partnerships with BRICS-aligned economies.
