The EMS Industries Charger is used to charge the portable End Of Train Device (EOTD).
This accessory is a battery charger for the End Of Train Device (EOTD), a portable device attached at the rear of the train which provides status and location reports to the Head of Train Device (HOTD).
As the EOTD is portable and powered by a battery, periodic charging is required via the EMS Industries Charger.
The charger is digitally programmable and able to recharge the EOTD in 5 hours or less.
